hard to get a card

Hello, Has anyone had to get a social security card lately? I've been to the office in Moore Oklahoma twice in the last weekand still don't have a social security card!! Since when does a birth certificate not work, then papers from the child support didn't work either. So now I gotta go to the doctor to get an updated medical record cause I cant afford to go to a regular doctor. Now I know they have to take extra precautions cause of identity theft, but really!! I had my birthcertificate and my mom with me to verify who I was amd they said I could of paid someone to act like my mom. I'm so frustrated... I take a deep breath... Ok its like a week later I went to er got the medical record, went to social security amd got my card. But they mail them so they give me a paper verifying that I am me and card is in the mail. I get to DPS. and they dont take the paper have to have card. So another week to wait what a bunch of bs. Later on, William clark
