You ever just have the worst run of things. Nothing goes your way and seems like the harder you try the worse it gets. Well I'm in one of those ruts now. I had a good job doing concrete and excavation work. I thought this is it the last job I will have. Then boom no work company can't buy a job. Its been a month I get labor ready sometimes, sidejobs off Craigslist but its not enough. I have put in applications, had interviews but no hire. My wife and I live in a hotel and its all I can do to keep us in a room and off the streets. 10 days behind and still no job. I don't know how much more he will take. He could kick us out tonight.
I'm in process of writing a business plan and hoping someone calls. I know other felons who got good jobs, got grants, are living a good life. I've been sober 2 years, yes I have an extensive job history I've only kept two jobs over a year. I just hope something gives before we end up in streets.
